From design spec to Play Store release — you own it. Real feature ownership you can point to in your portfolio and interviews.
Remote & Async
Work from anywhere. Flexible hours. Async communication through GitHub, Discord, and Notion. No commute, no micro-management.
Multi-Studio Ecosystem
Efface Studios is part of a larger network alongside AFS Creative Studio and AFS Agentics. Get exposure to games, creative services, and AI.

Intro Call
If there is a fit, we schedule a 30-minute video call to learn about you and answer your questions.

For paid roles, a small paid trial project. For internships, a brief skills assessment. We respond within 5 business days.
Why Google asks you to sign in
Our application form includes a CV/Resume upload field. Because the form contains a file upload, Google Forms requires applicants to be signed in before submitting — that prompt comes from Google, not from us.
All authentication is handled entirely by Google's own sign-in system. We never collect, see, or have access to your passwords or account credentials — we only receive the answers you submit. We keep applications in one form so every submission stays centralized and tracked.
Prefer not to use the form? No worries — just email us your application instead, and we'll take it from there.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the hiring process?+
Submit your application via email. If there is a fit, we schedule a 30-minute intro call, followed by a small paid trial project (for paid roles) or a skills assessment (for internships). We respond within 5 business days.
Are these positions remote?+
Yes — all positions are fully remote and async. Our team works across different time zones and communicates through GitHub, Discord, and Notion.
Do you offer full-time paid positions?+
Yes. We hire full-time and contract developers, artists, and marketers for ongoing game projects. Check the Open Positions section for current openings.
What about internships?+
We run a rolling unpaid internship program for aspiring game developers, artists, and creators. Interns work on real games, get mentorship, and build a portfolio. See the Internship Program section below.
Which internships are open right now?+
All of them — every internship role listed on this page is open on a rolling basis: Unity game dev, UI/UX, 3D art, web dev, trailers & VFX, marketing & ASO, audio, AI tools, and Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager Intern is a priority pick for us right now — running our social accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X), creating short-form content and memes around our games, replying to the community, and tracking what works. All internships are unpaid, remote, and flexible, with a signed certificate on completion. Apply through the form on this page and mention your preferred role.
Do I need a degree?+
No. We care about what you can build. Self-taught developers, career-switchers, and students are all welcome.
How long does it take to hear back?+
We aim to respond within 5 business days. If there is a fit, the entire process from application to offer takes 1-2 weeks for paid roles, 3-5 business days for internships.
Why does the application form ask me to sign in with Google?+
The form contains a CV/Resume upload field, and Google Forms requires respondents to be signed in whenever a form includes file uploads — that is a Google Forms rule, not ours. All sign-in happens through Google's own authentication system; we never collect, see, or have access to your passwords or account credentials — we only receive the answers you submit. Keeping the form centralized also lets us track every application in one place. If you would prefer not to use the form, just email us your application instead and we will take it from there.
